What are the Storage Limits on Squarespace Plans?
One of the fantastic things about Squarespace is that you can upload as many documents and images as you want across all plans!
However, there are a few things you need to bear in mind when it comes to storage space.
Here’s everything you need to know about Squarespace storage limits.
What limits are in place for video storage?
There are restrictions in place on how many videos you can add to your Squarespace website.
All pricing plans let you upload 30 minutes worth of videos to your site.
Where is the storage tab in Squarespace?
To see how much video storage space you have, go to Assets in your main website menu.
At the bottom of the Asset library, you’ll be able to see how much space you have left.
You can also see how much space you have when you go to upload a video.
How do you get more video storage on Squarespace?
The video upload limit may be more than enough if you only upload short videos.
However, if you want to upload longer videos (for example, if you want to create an online course), you can buy additional storage space.
The Squarespace digital products plan gives you between 10 hours and unlimited video storage space. It also reduces the transaction fee for content sales.
To buy a digital products add-on plan, go to Content & Memberships in your main website menu. If it’s not turned on, click on the Customize sidebar button to toggle it on.
Then, under Products, click on GET ADD-ON to get started.
(Top tip: If you work with a Squarespace Circle member, you can get 20% off your subscription!)
If you want to upload more videos but don’t want to pay for a digital products add-on, we recommend reviewing your existing videos and deleting any you no longer use.
Embedded videos don’t count towards your Squarespace storage limit. This means you can add videos from YouTube, Vimeo, and social media without them affecting your storage.
Are there any other limits in place?
Yes. You can only add 1,000 pages to your site.
If you have an e-commerce site, you can only add 10,000 products.
There are also limits to how many blocks and sections you can add to a page. For example, gallery sections can only host 250 images.
